Dolores joined RE/MAX in 2000 as the Regional Accountant for RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic and advanced to Assistant Controller, Controller, Vice President o Finance, and in 2018 was appointed CFO. Dolores is the top Finance person overseeing all of the Finance function for the RE/MAX INTEGRA group of companies in Canada, the US and Europe. She coordinates budgets, taxes, and cash management across all of those companies with the support of a great finance team at RE/MAX INTEGRA, as well as an outside team of tax and audit professionals.
Dolores holds a Diploma of Applied Arts, Computer Studies from College of the North Atlantic, NL as well as a Bachelor of Administrative Studies from York University, Toronto, Ontario and has a CPA/CGA Designation earned shortly after joining RE/MAX in 2002.
Dolores has worked in Finance and accounting since her mid-twenties and previous to RE/MAX worked as senior accountant for a large retail shoe chain, and later at an IT staffing company. She has been through numerous economic cycles and corporate restructures and brings to RE/MAX this experience and knowledge and ability to adapt and change as the RE/MAX INTEGRA organization has over the past 20 years. Dolores grew up on the East Coast of Canada in a small fishing village in Newfoundland and migrated across the country to Nova Scotia and then Ontario in her early twenties. She has made Toronto, and now Mississauga her home for the last 30+ years and lives a busy life with her husband and 2 sons.
