As the CEO of RE/MAX INTEGRA’s North American regions, Pamela Alexander is responsible for the corporate management of its operations in nine U.S. states including Connecticut, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin, and in the eastern Canadian provinces of Ontario, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. These operations consist of more than 17,500 sales associates and more than 900 offices.

Ms. Alexander has been involved in every facet of the RE/MAX organization– from the ground floor to the executive suites—with distinguished service for more than 39 years. Her brokerage, RE/MAX Professionals in Mississauga, ON was the first RE/MAX franchise to open in Eastern Canada in 1980. Ms. Alexander joined the Regional Office of RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada in 1995 as Regional Director and was promoted to the position of CEO & Managing Director, North American Operations in 2001.

Her comprehensive understanding of the real estate industry, its trends and future direction, as well as exceptional business acumen have allowed Ms. Alexander to strategically focus and direct her team with respect to increased market share and agent growth with great success. She has worked closely with her marketing and promotions team to propel the RE/MAX brand to the forefront among consumers and the media through far-reaching advertising and hard-hitting, newsworthy and credible public relations initiatives. Ms. Alexander has served as a formidable spokesperson for the organization and is in large part the reason why RE/MAX is the Voice of Real Estate in Canada today.

Extensive knowledge of current industry-wide regulations, technology and marketing efficiencies have earned Ms. Alexander a place on educational panels and on stage at real estate industry conferences. She travels throughout the RE/MAX world to share her expertise in the field of organized real estate with Regional RE/MAX Owners, providing valuable insight, advice, and mentoring to the sectors most influential entrepreneurs.

As CEO, Ms. Alexander also oversees the corporation’s adherence to internal and external protocols and ensures that RE/MAX INTEGRA conducts its business activities both lawfully and ethically. She is responsible for maintaining RE/MAX INTEGRA’s high standard of corporate citizenship within its business communities.

Ms. Alexander’s vast experience, understanding of the industry and her vision for its future have carved her a niche among the country’s business elite. Her contribution to the real estate industry, dating back to 1980, has been recognized on numerous occasions. In 2003, she was named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Canada by the National Post, one of Canada’s leading newspapers; she was featured on the cover of LORE Magazine in the US as one of the Five North American Real Estate Ladies; and most recently, Ms. Alexander was introduced as Real Estate Professional’s Industry Icon. Ms. Alexander ranked 51 on the Swanepoel Power 200 list for the North American real estate industry in 2017, alongside RE/MAX INTEGRA Co-Founder Walter Schneider. She was also named one of the Top 20 Women Leaders in Residential Real Estate by in January 2017.

Ms. Alexander is heavily invested in a wide-range of philanthropic endeavours. She is most proud of her continuing initiatives with Plan Canada, especially her work for the International Day of the Girl 2018 programme of Plan International. In 2013, she was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for her 30-year commitment to advancing the vital contributions of Plan Canada.

As well as the considerable strides made through her charitable commitment to vital corporate and personal causes, including Children’s Miracle Network, RE/MAX’s official corporate charity, Trillium Health Partners and Cleveland Clinic in Florida.

On a personal note, Ms. Alexander cherishes her time with family. She is a devoted mother and grandmother to her four children and their families, including four grandsons under the age of six, and an exemplary daughter to her 85-year-old parents. She takes pleasure in entertaining, with properties in Muskoka, Nantucket, and Florida often filled with the sound of children laughing. Travel also ranks high on her list of priorities with exotic destinations holding the greatest appeal for this winsome adventurer. Ms. Alexander has visited 77 countries to date. She also enjoys the simpler things in life, such as long walks in the woods and on the beach, enjoying nature and birdwatching.
